The Academy has been set up to give talented young footballers, including Goalkeepers, the chance to gain extra hours coaching outside of their normal Football environment. Sessions are not intended to replace School or Club Coaching, but to enhance existing Coaching being gained elsewhere.

The Academy Manager has over 30 years experience in Youth Football, as both a Coach and Manager, and has worked as a Senior Scout and TIR Co-ordinator for a top Premiership Club. Coaches are experienced, FA Qualified to Level 3 (UEFA B), hold Emergency Aid Certificates, have attended Child Protection and Best Practise Workshops, and have been CRB checked.

Coaching at the Academy is based on the development and improvement of the individual player, and therefore consists mainly of technique and skill related sessions. We also run regular sessions to help with match-play and game related tactics.

The main aim of the Academy is to develop and encourage young Footballers. We are therefore keen to work with Schools, Clubs, Teams and Managers on all aspects of Youth Football Development, including Individual Coaching, Team Coaching, Fun Days, Soccer Schools and Tournament Organisation.
